electricity energy environmental geospatial sustainability
Harmonized, cloud-optimized U.S. power grid data derived from public ISO, RTO, and federal sources. Kardashev Labs normalizes interconnection queues, ERCOT GIS filing history, ERCOT large-load queue observations, locational marginal prices, fuel mix, grid demand, renewable curtailment, carbon intensity, and related reference tables into Parquet with documented schemas and source provenance. The dataset is designed for researchers, journalists, and energy analysts who need machine-readable history across U.S. electricity markets without building their own ingest pipelines. Kardashev-produced schemas, metadata, and derived tables are openly licensed. Upstream source terms are documented per dataset; bulk republication of restricted third-party feeds is excluded from the open release.Live API and tools: https://data.kardashevlabs.org
